I almost forgot Gangbusters: 3rd ed by Scott Haring (1990).

So ... if the 3E version of GB is supposed to be the same stuff only in a single booklet, how is it that Scott Haring's name replaces those of Rick Krebs, Mark Acres and Tom Moldvay? Strange.

Doesn't mention Scott Haring at all.

Well, I didn't dream the name Scott Haring but got it from Amazon.com's entry for Gangbusters.

Since I don't own 3E, I assumed amazon would be a credible source.

And it's always fun to stir up trouble when you don't know in advance that it's trouble. (Although I suppose I should have guessed that something was afoot.) A surprise for me, teeth-grinding for you.

Same thing, as best as I can determine, but I don't have 1E. I read somewhere that they combined a Player's Book and GM's Book into one volume and called it 3E. Does that match the 1E books you have?
