Ok, another technical question. I'm usualy good at this kind of stuff but my tech-fu has been failing me of late.
How does one upload pictures into a post in these forums?

First, you have to be uploading a picture that is hosted somewhere online. I don't think you can go directly from your hard drive to this board. If you don't have a place to host an image you may want to try places like photobucket, where they give you free image hosting space if you sign up for an account. So, find the image location. You may have to look at its "properties" and can probably find the url of the picture. When you post a message, there are a bunch of buttons under the "subject" area. The top row lets you bold, underline, and so on. Go to the second row of buttons and the fourth one over (between the globe and letter buttons) is one that looks like of like a picture hanging on a wall. That's the one you want. What it will do is put html code in brackets and you paste the url of the picture in between the bracket sections. It's a lot like adding a weblink, if you've done that before. Hope that helps.

I just did one to show as a sample. I went to google, found a picture, did a right-click, went to properties, found a url. Then I clicked "reply" to the earlier post and got the message screen. I clicked on the picture button and it gave me the img and /img stuff inside brackets. I pasted the url in between the two sets of brackets and ... there's the picture! If you hit "quote" you can see the code, in case my explanation is confusing.
