Over the last year I've lost over a half dozen auctions for First Fantasy Campaign on eBay, unwilling to go over $55. But in these depressed times, I won a copy for $30. It is a first printing, and in excellent condition save that the middle pages are loose.
I'm very happy, not only for the content I just acquired which is of great interest to me, but also because First Fantasy Campaign is the last major Judges Guild product that I wanted to acquire.

Cool! Years ago, when FFC was a new product, I held one in my hands at a hobby shop in San Antonio TX. I didn't buy it and have come to regret that decision. I'm glad you've managed to acquire one for your very own.

Describe (or show me) the artwork AND the shade of the colors cover. ALL editions seem to be first but there were actually three, And if you send it to me I will happily autograpgh it for you.

Describe (or show me) the artwork AND the shade of the colors cover. ALL editions seem to be first but there were actually three, I am quite sure it is the first edition now. From the acaeum website: 1st Printing (1977): Cover print is a very dark red, has no index number and a large $7.98, along with the words "First Fantasy campaign playing aid by Dave Arneson, Judges Guild". Product list is titled "Booty List" with the highest number being 39. Dark red? Check No index number? Check Large $7.98? Check Title as above? Check Booty List? Check Highest number 39? Check And if you send it to me I will happily autograpgh it for you. Dave Arneson "Dark Lord of Game Design!" Now that's an offer I can't refuse! PM me with your address and it will happily be on its way, along with a check to cover the return postage.

Congrats on your find! Other than the OD&D brown books themselves, the FFC book is the greatest gaming inspiration in my library!

Mine, too. And mine is already signed (and personalized!), so it's even more treasured.
Plus, I just found it back after moving, which fills me with a deep sense of peace.
Congratulations, Kenmeister!

Yep! They sound like first printings. It has my own crude art work in them?

Hey I am no professional lie o many others. There jus wasn.t anyone else around. Well, you still draw a heck of a lot better than I do and I can't imagine the books that include your art without your illustrations.
