I haven't and it makes me a little nervous to have it in the store to be honest - I don't want people to be dissapointed. Neither Fight On! nor Rob are making a cent out of that $40, by the way - that's the lulu base price, but that also means I have no way to know if anyone buys it.
If anyone has bought it and it's cool (or lame) please let us know here.

Yes, it would.

If you mean the one sold on Lulu, I bought one. It was nice, but frankly, 1) it was glossy, not very thick paper - nothing like the old maps 2) I don't hang that kind of stuff on my walls (that's for paintings and family portraits), so the map is catching dust in a cardboard tube.

Thanks for the feedback, Melan.
Do you think we should keep offering it? It's only there as a service to fans, so if it's not one, we shouldn't. I can see where people might like a wall map, and some gamers could put it on the table, maybe under glass.
I guess what I want to avoid is people feeling ripped off.

1) it was glossy, not very thick paper - nothing like the old maps Bummer I was afraid that it would be too poster like. What we need is a place to print (and sell) large posters in a matte finish not glossy.

Cafe Press does 22 by 35 posters at $17.95.
And 16" by 20" poster for $13.99. Still probably be a glossy finish. But it is better than lulu.

Hi Rob -
If you want to sell the poster on cafe press yourself, I would be happy to see that happen.
My only question about that is how we could direct people to it from lulu, if at all. But I don't mind having that be the default location, esp. if it saves people money.

I think I know how. If we have a link to the cafepress site in the item description for the free download maps, that would be a way to send interested people there.
Let me know if you want to pursue this route.

It was perhaps higher than regular poster quality, but it wasn't a heavy stock like we all appreciate in old JG maps.
