I'm pretty desperate for trap pics for Fight On! in general, and for issue 4 this is getting even tougher.
I really prefer everything in the issue to be fan generated but I contemplated using some of the loot we've plundered to buy trap stock art to fill this breach. I discovered something interesting:
Out of over 650 stock art products on rpgnow, not one is dedicated to traps.
This is a serious omission, I think. I think a twenty page book of pictures of traps, covering the basics for say the first twelve, some new and interesting ones for the next four, and then game mechanics for the new and interesting ones plus credits for the few pages after that, would be a fantastic product. And, you'd be the only one selling it even on the big outlets.
I hope if any of you do this you'll give FO! a free license to use the trap pics in the book. :-) If any of you seriously take this up I'll even delete this post so that others don't come by and get the idea ahed of you....
Alternately, if no-one has energy to do a whole book like this by themselves, maybe a few of us could collaborate on "The Fight On! Book of Trap Stock Art" and split the proceeds between us. Then we could sell it on the Fight On! store as well as on rpgnow.

Single images of a trap can be difficult to compose, since you are often trying to convey a triggered sequence. By adding a character or two, the viewer can imagine how the hapless victims arrived at the "action" being drawn. An easier format might be comic panels, where the "before & after" are individual frames. Personally, I'm perplexed as to why "adventuring" game books don't use sequential graphics to help readers grasp mechanics and such.

Exalts to both of you. I think both ideas are great. I would definately like to see a comic style set of pictures to see the action and result.
