Avatars

I'm attempting to set my avatar to the following "google image"

Any reason why this wouldn't work? I've tried previously to a URL provided by Live Journal, and to one provided by Picasa. I've tried in both Firefox (3) and IE (7)

Just taking a stab at it ... I can't tell what kind of graphic image this one is and I'm pretty sure that proboards won't take just any kind of image file. For example, I don't think you can link to a Bitmap (.bmp) avatar.

Any chance you could save it again as another format and try again?



EDIT: I found your .jpg image in your blog and linked to that instead. ;D Mission accomplished!

Dunno. I tried to link to your original http that you posted and I couldn't get it to work, either. Then I remembered seeing a similar image on your blog and I scurried over and linked to it instead. I never could get the original address to link up right. :-(
