If anyone remembers Icom's old MacVenture point'n'click games (Shadowgate, Uninvited, Deja Vu I & II), here's a really cool interview where Dave Marsh talks about how (A)D&D inspired them, and how he used to visit Lake Geneva as a kid:

Cool interview! We had both Shadowgate and Deja Vu on the NES, and I played the heck out of them, though I have no idea where they came from. Probably our friend across the street, he was from Hong Kong and his dad or uncle had some major hookups through his work doing some capacity of tech import/exports. This kid had every console of the 80s and early 90s, including two Neo Geos, and at least one copy of almost every game in their libraries, including many Chinese and Japanese titles. He'd let us borrow extra copies of games and then simply forget he ever had them. I gave most back, but there was still a box full that stayed with us forever because his family up and moved out of state while we were away on vacation.
