I don't think there is a weak one, but I find myself returning to harrowing FO! #9.

That is a great cover indeed!
I have signed prints of the Mark Allen covers for #6 and #12 if anyone wants to buy them.
It's hard for me not to choose the Erol Otus cover to #8 as a sentimental favorite. Imagine starting a fanzine and getting a childhood hero to do a cover! But in terms of art quality there are a lot of really good choices.

Those prints are totally awesome! #6 has fond memories because Mark Allen won the Erol Otus contest back in 2009 with that art - the color award. odd74.proboards.com/post/30431/thread

Artistically, Mark Allen's cover for #6 is my favourite, but my sentimental favourite actually is Andrew Reyes' cover for #1. I can still recall the excitement I felt at our little online community producing something in print, something that was ours and not big corporate. I remember the excitement of the physical copy turning up in the mail. I love that sword held aloft with the heading Fight On! So, I guess that sentimentality perhaps trumps artist aesthetics.

Compositionally, I would also say Mark Allen's cover from issue six is my favorite.

So far we have #1 and #8 as the sentimental favorites and #6 and #9 put forward as the artistic favorites. I think those last two were the first and second place winners in the Erol Otus art contest? So in a way that's not a total surprise that they jumped out at people.
I have been feeling some fondness for #3 lately as well. Especially because that was at the time like a 30 plus year old image that had just been sitting in my friend's files waiting for use....

Yes I must admit I shortlisted #3's cover too, it was a very close runner up.
