I got my issue of FO#3 the other day, and it frankly surprised the hell out of me. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but I was expecting "less" out of a D&D fanzine based on past experiences and boy, was I was wrong FO #3 is a phenomenal effort full of great material that's been dang inspiring to read! I felt like I was reading the love-child of " The Dragon" & "Alarums & Excursions". I will be ordering the previous 2 issues from Lulu ASAP. Thanks to all involved! ;D P.S. When will the subscriptions start?

Awesome! Thanks Jeff! Yeah, I think our content is pretty aces too - well, except for my stuff which is mostly filler. We aim to please.

So cut that out ;D Now I have a dumb question- What is the scale of the Wilderlands maps per hex? I could not seem to find it- I'm thinking 10 miles?

I think it is 5 miles per hex (8 km for our metric friends)

I have to second jeffb's comments - Fight On is worth every freakin' penny! And then some!!! Took a leap of faith buying issue #1 and have not looked back. Subscription or no I look forward anxiously to the next issue. I am seriously considering submitting some work myself (and I've never had the confidence to do that.) Thank you to all that have launched this wonderful "old school" 'zine for rekindling the wonder and magic of OD&D and old school gaming for me!
