Hopefully a quick question:
I'd like to format some material into my own "Little Black Book" for Traveller and would like to make it look as "official" as I can.
There is an online site that informs about all the different fonts used for Dungeons & Dragons.
What information is out there for Traveller font(s)?
Thanks!

Yes, the CotI fora had the same conclusion. My homebrewed CT booklets using these look just fine next to the originals.

Obsessively, I note that one commenter on that thread notes that, "Optima isn't an exact match, but it's close." I find that hard to believe, honestly. It's Optima.

It is and it isn't. URW was able to hit the ground running with the digitization of many typefaces across a variety of foundries. A good number of them were reproduced from phototypesetting sources -- making them copies of copies. Copies with questionable quality control, with missing glyphs, compromised spacing, lack of kerning, etc. Copies usually made from fonts intended for larger display purposes and then used as body copy. Some have been improved, redrawn, re-released, etc. Are LL, S&W, OSRIC, DD, etc. D&D? Sure. Kinda. Close enough. And yet not quite. Edit: Hell, maybe you're right. At a certain point the granularity doesn't matter.
