Initial encounter

Adventurers will be questioned gruffly by Rough Rufus at the town gate. Even as he does, behind him a scuffle breaks out between one of his sons and a son of the local blacksmith. The commotion quickly spills out into the street with passers by joining in on one side or the other. Rough Rufus cuts the interview off and rushes back to crack down on the brawlers. If adventurers join the fray, when the fight ends, they are arrested. If they don’t, they are called candy-asses by Rough Rufus and arrested for loitering. Welcome to Teckton.

Well, what adventurer is going to turn down an opportunity to jump into a fray and whack some brawlers? Guess we'll be waking up in jail... as normal for first levelers! 🤣
