The deadline is still a ways away, but it's nice to be able to plan. Let me know if you're finding any inspirations likely or have any queries!

Could you use this for the color map on the back cover?

I plan on submitting a D&D module for beginning 1st-level characters set in Carcosa. An idea, Geoffrey, since there is a bit of drama revolving around one aspect of your setting, if you needed to you could reference the names of particular rituals in the module but leave it to individual DMs to look up the details in whichever version of Supp. V they got (or make up their own details). I hate to be a stinker about it but I don't want to see people screaming at Fight On! the way they did about Carcosa.

In all cases I will leave it up to the referee to look up any details whatsoever in Supplement V: CARCOSA. I hate it when space is wasted in a module repeating stuff that's in a rulebook. So there will be NO details (whether "controversial" or not) in the module that are already in Supplement V: CARCOSA. I won't even list armor classes that are already in CARCOSA, for example. There could very well be a few new sorcerous rituals in the module. I'm not sure right now. In any case, if anything in my submission is too hard-core for Calithena to want to have in Fight On!, I am more than willing to tailor the module to suit. If such does in fact happen, I will include the unedited bits on my blog. I'm sure everything will be a win-win situation all around.

I'm sure everything will be a win-win situation all around. Of course It's too bad Fight On! is B&W. I'm sure a graphic of a bunch of purple barbarians would make people take a closer look!

Rob, that's awesome. Is it a stand-alone map or is there an adventure to go with it? Either way we'll use it sooner or later, the fight for cover space is just always nice. I have a nice Kevin Mayle piece I might use for the back cover of #4 if I don't need it for an adventure map, but sooner or later everything will get used.
No need to fret about Carcosa submissions before we get them, I'm sure Geoffrey and I can work whatever out.

Rob, that's awesome. Is it a stand-alone map or is there an adventure to go with it? Stand-Alone although I used it for the "village" in several adventures. I was playing with a toolkit for Campaign Cartographer and this was my best result. When you are ready to use it let me know and I will send you the 300 dpi version.

I could also offer a very simple B&W dungeon map: Water TempleI haven't written an adventure for it, yet. I had planned this to be an abandoned temple to be found very early in the campaign with some water creatures and a necromancer. Adapting it to be a sublevel of a bigger dungeon might also work.

I submitted a chart of drawbacks for magical weapons. Because I like charts for random and interesting things, and life's just more fun when your +2 sword causes rats to follow you. (Not as their leader or anything. They just follow you around. And yes, that's a small preview.)

I just submitted an adventure, a list of new spells, and a number of magic items. We'll see if they're accepted.

I submitted an article on libraries in the dungeon game -- new monsters, character class, spells, and plenty of tables for randomly generating library materials.

It so happens I had a monstrous librarian in mind, a stand-alone encounter to be plugged in anywhere a referee had a mind to. I'll put that together if you and Cal don't mind me piggybacking.

I have an idea for a series of one-shot lairs and encounters that can be inserted into an on goining game. I'm pretty bad with maps though, would someone contribute a small 5-6 room cave map to the cause for me to populate or point me to a map maker that can do caves as well as dungeons?

Very nice link, many thanks! Now I guess I don't have an excuse for not making a submission.

Would a setting for Mutant Future be something for FIGHT ON 4?

Yes, definitely. I'd love to see some more Mutant Future stuff in #4 and going onward. If you don't get it done soon enough we'll take it for #5. Send it in!

Feel free to include my Ascending Armor Class charts in the next or future issue. Maybe it can be part of an article about alternate methods of combat resolution. Here's a link to my custom reference sheets (PDF).

So Rob, not to speak for Iggy, but I imagine he might encourage you to write that article yourself, maybe talking about why you decided to use an alternate system. Well, at least I'd like to read that...

It's a little bit up in the air. Probably Arcane Vault of the Magic Goddess, maybe Ixtandraz, maybe Giant Dilemma, maybe Lord of Eyes. Sorry I don't have more concrete information, there will be at least one and maybe two. We try to put together a complete issue and the contest entries are mostly selected on a case by case basis for balance with respect to what else goes in there. They are all good of course, and all will be published eventually!

I'm hoping to have an Arduin adventure completed for issue 4 (or short of that, due to copyrights, made available online somewhere), and I already sent in a somewhat off-beat one page optional D&D race/class guide. I'd like to submit something Arduin related, so if the adventure is off-limits, I'll consider another idea or two.
A new level for the megadungeon is nearing completion as well, but destined for a later issue (5 or 6 maybe).
I'll probably have an article on Dwarves, Traps and the Thief ready by the end of the week, too.

I just submitted an adventure, a list of new spells, and a number of magic items. We'll see if they're accepted. Laura Jalo has shown me her finished artwork to accompany the adventure... that will be sent along as soon as it's scanned. Aino Purhonen is working on some artwork as well. The LotFP crew is out in force for this issue.
