Anyone have great color art available?
I already have a good submission from our friend Kevin Mayle, but I promised him the "Dragon Tribute" cover for issue #5 dedicated to Tim Kask, so if someone else has something good available for #4 I'm inclined to give someone new a chance to get some variety. It won't kill us to have two awesome KM covers in a row, but since it's a fanzine I don't mind sharing the fame around either. Try to let me know soon so I can get Kevin a more definite answer.

You may have posted this elsewhere, but to whom is Issue #4 dedicated?

By the way, I just finished the cover for 5. I'll be e-mailing it shortly.

Great, Kevin! Thank you so much!
I think we found someone else for #4, so we should be covered. If not we've got the other one you sent as backup, thank you so much!

You may have posted this elsewhere, but to whom is Issue #4 dedicated? Interesting question. Some potential candidates: M.A.R. Barker, David Hargrave, Paul Jaquays, David Sutherland, Ken St. Andre...

All those folks should get their due sooner or later. There have been some other people discussed too: Erol Otus, Jim Ward, Rob Kuntz, Tom Moldvay, for that matter you could even look to people like Greg Stafford. David Trampier...Dennis Sustarre....Steve Jackson. And actually I can guarantee Lee Gold will be the dedicatee of one of the next few issues, though not #4 or #5 - probably #6. Like Dragon, Alarums & Excursions is a core model for what we're doing, and along with Dragon/SR probably the most influential gaming magazine of the seventies/early eighties, though with less wide exposure. Anyway, since we're a magazine I felt that Tim and Lee ought to get their due early on in the process.
All that leaves me curiously silent on the #4 dedicatee. Several people know already, I'm just hoping for a larger announcement. More soon....

Me too. If that's the person who will be the focus of issue #4, put me down for three copies Doc
