I used to do it ALL the time here, at the Trollbridge and at Dragonsfoot.
Now…for some reason…out of nowhere, I cannot make it work nor noodle it out. 😕

Now…for some reason…out of nowhere, I cannot make it work nor noodle it out. 😕 The image has to already exist up on the internet somewhere. You copy the URL to the image (I use right click on the image -> select copy image address) In your post click on the little picture icon  . Paste the URL into the pop up menu where it says "Image Url". You do not have to fill out the "Alt Text", it's optional. Click the insert image button. |

Right. Yeah. I was hosting the image. But it ‘didn’t work’.
I’m on iOS or rather iPadOS now, wholly and completely so some things are a lil different, but I’ve never had an issue with anything…but, now…doing old school stuff, it was not working…so,..yeah…

Ok. That worked. So…on imgbb…you use the “direct link” and to post it here, you have no choice but to navigate to the full response and tap the image icon, and then use the direct link…right….

I stopped using sites that want to charge me to be able to host pics, so now I upload pics to a facebook album that serves as a pic host site. Oh, and I am old enough to remember Gallery magazine.  You naughty boy. (j/k) |

Hopefully you are posting links to images hosted elsewhere and not posting images here. Last I checked, our board was at 92% full and I'd rather not have to start paying for hosting space.

I don't think it is possible for a non-administrator to post a picture hosted here. They have to be linked from elsewhere. |
