I spent a great deal of time with magic markers to make a map on numbered squares graph paper. I was well into the project when I realized I had made an awful mistake. The numbers are upside down! Map called Scratch.

Ouch. I will confess that either I find paper already numbered (I had some blank Judges Guild map pages at one point) or ignore hex numbers altogether. I'm hoping someday to find a simple and inexpensive map software that numbers hexes for me. Never did it upside down. I feel your pain.

You can then export the map view and print it. If you already have Worldographer, you're all set!

I think the numbers are that way so the players can see the map right side up but the DM on the other side of the table can read the key.

Nice map! I have experienced similar, but different problem: making a hugely detailed map of a campaign area or dungeon... that the players never visit
