(I did some searching on the forum here, but couldn't find an answer.)
What is the significance of the proper name TSOJCONTH? I had heard a rumour some time ago that it was an anagram for John Scott, but the identity of this person is thus far unknown. Do D&D Scholars and Archaeologists have any insights?

According to Gary, just a name he made up to sound exotic. Also, he asserted that Tsojcanth was the original and correct spelling, and that Tsojconth was just a misspelling - presumably in the process of turning hand-written notes into a typed tournament module - which was later corrected for the actual commercial adventure module. This thread on DF quotes Gary's answer from a Q&A thread on ENWorld, the relevant post is about 3/4 of the way down the first page by user franciscawww.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27317
