OK, so when I want to import a new OSR-compatible character class, what is the best way to decide which of the various Saving Throw progressions to use for the single Saving Throw value in S&W?
Thank you for any and all input.

Average them.

Edit: Averaging them isn't a good idea, as some editions and/or games (depending on if you#re importing from official D&D versions or OSR products) have wildly different STs.
In S&W Complete, the Fighter alone has ST 14, while Cleric, Magic-User and Thief start at 15.
So, depending on the class you're importing, if they're a "(almost) pure" fighting-type (like the Ranger), start the ST at 14, otherwise 15. Or you may just have the Fighter have the advantage of starting out best (while having the least special abilities) and start every other class with ST 15.
All ST 15 classes get a special ST bonus vs. some effects, so that might be a good way to go for imported classes, too.
