Split off from this post in the Zenopus Archives blog post thread. --- ZenopusSo, hypothetically, if I were sentenced to prison, would I also have to play D&D with chits? That seems cruel.

Some prison systems confiscate polyhedral dice because they can potentially be used in gambling, or so I have heard. I did watch a cool documentary on YouTube once about guys in the pen who bonded over D&D and continue to meet up and play after their release.

In another one, an inmate said he had heard of a player forming bread into a dough ball with 20 faces impressed in it to dry and mark with a pen.
