PDFs come out ca. one month after print publication, so issue 3 is not yet available.

I'd love to help you out, VJ, but Melan's right, we're print supremacists around here, being 'old school' and all that. Still, I will release the PDF before Christmas, since to do otherwise would be uncivilized....it will be announced to all & sundry.
In the meantime print copies make nice gifts for under the tree, menorah, etc.!

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait then.

Well, it makes sense to delay if you want to sell both. I suspect that once the PDF gets "out there" it tends to drive sales down as it gets shared. For a big-time company that might be a "no big deal" thing because enough people would buy the hard copy anyway, but for a small group like FIGHT ON! a few sales could be a large percentage of their total. Maybe calithena could be persuaded to have a "day early PDF sale" exclusive to this message board so you can get it before your friends? Just a thought.

That would be cool, but I guess I can wait - barely. The thing is, I get a lot of utility out of gaming materials in PDF form; I can print them for free at work, and I like to print out single pages for the ol' houserule binder, as well as scenarios and maps in seperate folders... you get the idea. On a slightly unrelated note, would this be the right forum for airing wishes for future content?

I can see how PDF could be handy for some purposes ... but this is such a gargantuan issue, I can't see passing up the print version. YMMV, natch.
I reckon there's a practical upper limit to the number of pages per issue of glorious gaming goodness with which our cups can spill over?

I understand the reason behind waiting. I just thought it would be fun to call'em "Fanatics."

This is definitely the right forum for airing general wishes for the magazine. Start a thread and tell us what you want!
The limited business information we have suggests that simultaneous print and PDF releases actually drives business up the most. But, this isn't a business, its' a fanzine! We have PDFs because people want them, we just delay the release to encourage people to buy print.
