Ordered the first time MCC fan kit recently. Arrived quickly. A true bargain. My only gripe is that the judges screen isn't of the same quality as the DCC screen. It's a flimsier cardboard. Still, nice to have. A person can't really complain about what you get for $30. That includes the pdf of the physical products.
Anyhoo, I wanted to run my daughter through a solo, so I put together this 0 level adventure location. I figured I might as well share it with others while I was at it. Here's the link if interested.
Got to run this two separate times this weekend. It's a fairly good adventure for solo play. That is, one player with four zero level characters. Two player with up to six characters would be okay too. Others should feel free to ad lib to the brief room descriptions, of course.
What is hilarious about it is that the players in both games could not resist the embedded computer chip in the isolation room. It's the perfect trap. In the first game, my daughter just straight up opened the chamber without even thinking about it. She lost one character to the blast. In the second, it occurred to me that I did not include a means for the characters to introduce the medical tools into the chamber. So, I quickly added that there is a two-way sliding drawer on the side of the chamber. The surgical tools include: forceps, probe, chisel, hammer, saw, and scalpel. This is just to allow them to manipulate the chip without opening the door. But, I required a DC10 Agility check to transfer the chip with forceps into the drawer using the gloves. The character ended up dropping the chip and, instead of leaving it, opened the sealed chamber. Ha-ha! "Permanent center sterilization will initiate in 60 seconds!" The PC's were able to make it out in time, but they had lost two to the Electropedes earlier. Honestly, it has the potential for easily creating a TPK if they get locked in. So, I think both players made out pretty well.
