I suppose you get into the weird logistics of how you define a single game or campaign with a situation like this. It's been discussed and posted around the various sites for a few years and I recall hearing that it's the same DM and the same persistent game world but that there's been hiatuses, major timeline skips, some of the players being replaced, etc. Of course that's about as close to a persistent campaign of that length you're ever gonna realistically get, isn't it? I believe the Blackmoor Bunch qualify as well, by this definition. (Obviously in that case the referee can't be Arneson any more but they always took turns anecdotally)
