So, something I have been working on as a Christmas gift to my game group (wife, sister, son, son's fiance) is a gift that they can use in my home D&D 5E game. (I know, the best gift would be to run OD&D instead.) Anyway, my thought is to give each person a cardstock page with stuff on it and as they use the stuff in game they can mark some checkboxes. I was going to have them sing the gift to the "12 Days of Christmas" tune, either solo or an masse, in order to be able to cash in the gift.
My concept was to have the top part the same for all four...
I think each line could be (badly) sung to the corresponding line of "12 Days." Maybe.
And then at the bottom have a few things which are customized to each player, where they could cash in something below to cross off an entire row from the song. For example, a Flame Brand sword for my son because he likes to be a fighter, or a wand of magic missles (maybe a staff of magi?) for my wife since she only plays wizards, that kind of thing.
(1) I tried to put powerful stuff at the bottom and more expendable stuff at the top. Does my organization above look decent?
(2) It's supposed to last for an entire year, but does this seem too powerful?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome. None of my crew reads my ODD74 boards.

Fun. Why not start it off as a gift for Christmas that the whole group has to sing through together that one time. Then they just use the card up through the year.
The only one I have any reservations on is the "two free levels". Seems overly generous. I don't really know 5e's ins and outs though. How about two free advantaged attacks.

Looks like fun. I think your players will enjoy it. It might make the game a little zany for a while, but a little zaniness never hurt anybody.

Sing it once on Christmas then cash in as needed. The only one I have any reservations on is the "two free levels". Seems overly generous. I don't really know 5e's ins and outs though. How about two free advantaged attacks. I figured if they all cash it at once (or one level twice) I just adjust up the adventure. It would be a little more tricky if one cashed in and no one else did, since they are used to all being at the same level as one another.

I think it depends on what levels they already are. If they are already high level PCs, then most of these rewards (except the free leveling) won't over-reward them.
