Not really MA, but the system that Jim says he has been running games at conventions for the past 5 years.
I don't know a lot about this other than what the KS says, but...
(1) The game works with the "Dark" series of modules written by the same authors. That would be Dark Outpost, Dark Visitor, and Dark Colony. All three are excellent and are for sale already through DriveThru or other PDF sales sites.
(2) Jim says that Lance is compatible with pretty much all MA products, which is cool.
(3) The big "schtick" of the game seems to focus on the concept that space is dangerous. Seems more like Firefly then Star Trek, but the authors seem to think it simulates all sorts of scifi, so who knows.
(4) Entry level is pretty cheap, with soft cover and PDF for $25. (Hardback is more, obviously.)
