I decided to purchase The Deluxe Metamorphosis Alpha Oversized edition and found that Goodman is having a Holiday Sale until the November 29th!
Many items at reduced prices (create an account, proceed to check out and you can find out what the reduced price is)!
I saved well over $20 on my copy.
(For fans of MA, I saw an edition on Amazon at a reduced price recently as well!)

The MA set is great. You will love it. I was a backer.
It's a complete PITA to use at the table however because of it's size.

It's a complete PITA to use at the table however because of it's size. Isn't that Goodman Games in a nutshell? I don't mind the DCC RPGs rulebook. Its thick, but at least it's a normal size hardcover. MA is like a coffee table book-Its very tall and so is the Judge Guild reprint, which I did not back because of the format. (which we've hashed out here previously) Now that you say that though, I've rarely liked the layout and ease of use at the table of GG products. The old 3.5 modules especially and boxed sets (Castle Whiterock, Known World Gaz) were horribly laid out and pretty hard to use at the table. The 4E modules were well done-in fact I'd say the 4E DCC adventure products were probably my favorite products from Goodman, period.
