I saw this question asked in another topic, and thought it would make an interesting poll. So here it is; it's anonymous so hopefully, we can afford to be honest

I was able to honestly check the 41-50 box since I don't turn 51 for another week.

Proboards says we have 1,285 members, with 77 online in the last 24 hours. So a ways to go...

I "came out" in 1984. I am in good company, including Gremlins and Ghostbusters to name two of my favorite 1984-relics.
At 36 years of age I'm not in what appears to be the primary demographic of this place.
So how did I get here? I have an old soul, and the heart of a child.
I keep both in the sub-basement with all the other things I've dug up.

It makes me feel old knowing I would have been in the "Up to 20 years" category when I first started posting here. Now I'm nearly 31.

A bunch of old (eggs of) coots, most of us. I actually thought we had a bit more younger folks. But still early in the voting process.

Getting old is better than dying young. As long as you leave a good looking corpse. 💀

Apparently, we need an OD&D workout group.

All I can say as a guy who's "been there, done that" is that gym memberships are expensive, but most people with internet access own a pair of shoes and walking's free. It's not glamorous or anything but it's the thing you actually do every day and stick with that's gonna work for you, and most people can squeeze in 20 minutes of walking if they really want to.

Fifty, soon to be fifty-one in a couple of months. (Crikey!) On the other hand, that's still childhood for an elf.

So... interest in OD&D appears to drop off a cliff at age 60? What happens on your 61st birthday??

Totally, gym memberships are overrated. I bring my daughter to the park every afternoon. While she's playing, I do calisthenics. Works pretty well for me. No extra equipment necessary.

I will never forget one time decades ago when my mother and I were taking a mini-vacation in Denver. There was a comic book shop a few blocks down the street from our hotel, so I walked over. It was beautiful, cloudy, cool weather with moist air. You could walk for miles in that sort of air. On my way to the comic shop I passed a gym. Its wall facing the street was one huge bank of windows. Lined up against the windows were perhaps twenty treadmills, each one with a person on it...walking.

Having the Steps counter on my phone has been helpful. If I don't have 10K steps after walking the dogs I do the little more to get there.

Inside you are still the same kid who was up late nights playing D&D all summer with his middle school friends. Then you look in the mirror and see this aging man.

You do calisthenics? I just chase my kids around because they have absolutely zero sense of self-preservation.

Oops, I just dated myself! I was a miserable jerk for the 2 weeks preceding my 50th bday. Then when I crossed that milestone I kind of resigned myself to fate. Don't sweat it; there's still beer martinis. Time to graduate to something classier.
