I have been invited to a regular D&D game! Maybe weekly! Maybe every other week! Who knows?
Granted, it's 5E, but who cares? I haven't been in a proper RPG group in I can't remember how long.
We're still working out the details. I am feeling hopeful.

Indeed. I've my issues with WOTC and how they have handled 5E as a brand and it's development, but the basic rule system is a good , playable design. With the right group, I wouldn't hesitate to play!

So! I got a job and schefuling prevented me from attending the inaugural game yesterday. Plot twist! The game was cancelled two hours before it was supposed to start due to Father's Day! Will I be able to make it to the rescheduled gane next Sunday? Only my department manager knows for sure...
