This episode went up on my birthday, but I'm just getting to it now. I LOVE Marvel Super Heroes because I'm one of those guys who, 13 when this came out and groomed on D&D and already a Marvel zombie, this game was made for. I loved that the rules were written in-character, so my favorite heroes were teaching me the game.
DM Liz is exactly right on this one. I agree that the sheer amount of Karma you need to spend for advancement never appealed to me and seems to have anticipated players gaming the Karma system in ways I never used to see happen. And the universal table *is* truly elegant.
Random character generation is the best! I often randomly roll my race and class when playing D&D these days too.
Ha! I love the little bonus treat at the end. Marvel Marching Society indeed!

Random superpowers is one of those things people seem to either love or hate. I'm in the latter column I'm afraid, on the Ol' Universal table...with a red result!
