I forgot how to attach files to posts. I know how to link stuff, but I want to attach a document from my hard drive. Does anyone remember how to do it?

On my screen, when I make a post, in the upper right corner is a button that says "add attachments." That's how I do it, but I don't know if it looks the same for all posters.
I think there is a 1 MB limit on files and keep in mind that this board is at 90% full so use some restraint when posting too much stuff. I may have to go kill pictures and attachments soon. (I'd like to keep this as a free board. Extra storage space costs money.)

Could file attachments have already been disabled for everyone except mods/admins?

I am trying to post my MERP to BFRPG Conversion file. It's an ODT file, and it's 30.8 KB in size.
Like Desparil said, only the Poll and Bookmark options are on the upper right-hand side. I have attached files before, so has the feature been disabled?

I think the mods removed attachment capabilities after I killed the board with the Mentzer play copy note scans.

I think the mods removed attachment capabilities after I killed the board with the Mentzer play copy note scans. You may be right, but those were valuable pictures. I'd rather kill generic pictures from a decade ago and preserve actual game note type stuff. tkdco2 I can post it for you, if you like.

Another option for future reference is that you could link to a file on a cloud storage service, such as Google Drive, Amazon AWS, or Microsoft OneDrive. Then it doesn't take up any of the board's storage and can exceed 1 MB.

Google Drive would work. Not sure if it works for Firefox or Microsoft Edge users though. I was also considering Dropbox.

I can usually pick up a google drive file using Edge or Firefox without issues (other than googledrive telling me I should be using google, and asking me if I want to switch)

I just use Imgur.com. Super easy to keep your images organized and you can grab the direct link.
Sometimes I use links from my blog.
