Hello all!
I don’t know if this is an appropriate discussion to be had, but I do think it’s an important one.
Is there any sort of definitive list of important people in terms of D&D / TSRs history that have passed on?
If not, I feel like we should start one.
Aside from Gary and Dave, there are plenty of other contributors that I believe deserve some sort of honorary blurb “X person lived from X-X years, and is notable for X.”
I read some Gary Con post about celebrating Jeff Perren this year, but then I tried remembering if he had passed on recently, and I genuinely couldn’t remember, and google told me nothing.

This is an excellent idea. A hall of Heroes for remembering everyone who has contributed to D&D and possibly remarks on each one would be something prestigious in its own right. And rightfully honoring those who should not be forgotten.
