Experiment: Delving Deeper with Kids

My son asked when we were going to play an RPG again.
The kids' experience so far is with "Risus" for starters, then "Fate Accelerated Edition" for a bit more complexity, and we have also played "Into the Odd" and "Best Left Buried". Now that he wanted to start a new game, and the kids showed interest in a continuing campaign where they grow stronger over time, I am going to start them into "Delving Deeper".

I am curious how they will like it.
My wife and kids made a party of 4 for now: A Magic User, an Elf, a Cleric, and a Snowman (rules-wise: a fighter)
I am going to give each of them a sidekick from the start so they have a meatshield.
