Just started watching Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts on Netflix with my kid this week, and we've been enjoying it. It definitely has a Gamma World vibe — the main character is swept from her underground "burrow" in a flood, into a post-apocalyptic above-ground world full of hilariously strange mutated animals, as well as the occasional human. The music is pretty good too. Recommended! |

Ah yes, lol. I watched a few episodes of Kipo with my grade-school-age son. As you mentioned, very Gamma World. I recently picked up print-on-demand copies of 1e Gamma World and the Famine in Far Go module. The plan is to start a family campaign with my son and wife. I'll definitely be like "Remember that Kipo cartoon you liked? That's this!"

When the vilain is a mutated mandrill wearing a pompadour and playing piano forte while driving a two-headed flamingo motored pink car, it's pretty much gamma-worldish.
