All, I did a quick search, and I've not really seen this book by Phillip Jose Farmer mentioned as a source/Appendix N book for Gamma World. I first encountered this book back in Jr High (early 80's to date myself), and honestly I think it ranks with the Heiro Saga/Starman's Son as perfect GW source material. Anyone else read/love this novel?

Yes! Read this in junior high decades ago and think about it at least once a week. The sentient rock creature who speaks with a killing laser . . . Pure Gamma World. Giant creatures so enormous you have no hope but that they don't cross your path. I've been thinking about rereading it, if I could find a copy.

Great book! I read it way back in the early 1980s, but it still rests on my shelf as I just found out, and I should seriously give it a reread soon. Especially since I reread Hiero's Journey a while ago and found it every bit as good as back in the day.
