Howdy All, Excited to see this excellent documentary finally brought to the screen. A testament to the documentary crew who persevered through a pointless legal battle to bring this to the fans. If you want to be moved by the real story of the creation of a game we all dearly love, this is your documentary. If instead your heart lies with stories of personal struggle, ingenuity, and triumph, you will not be disappointed. The Great KingdomFutures Bright, Paul

Oh heck yes. Now I have this to look forward to in addition to subsequent chapters of Secrets of Blackmoor and the upcoming Dreams In Gary's Basement. I hope this genre of documentary continues to grow in popularity.

Here's the trailer from 2014: youtu.be/DhSlQQXbuQQIs there any web presence for this? A Facebook page? IMDB doesn't have many specifics on it

Unfortunate that Jim Ward mentions "two handwritten pages" from Arneson, as every other source I've seen indicates 18 pages. (And 18 pages could translate to as much as 36 half-pages, or roughly 1/3 of the boxed set.) It just seems to trivialize Dave's contribution, but it was only a teaser. No way to know for sure until the real thing comes out.

I love Ten Years Gone in the background of the 2014 trailer.
"Then as it was, then again it will be. Though the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea."
If you're going to talk about the 70's you might as well be using classics from the 70's.
How old are these interviews anyway? Might make for an interesting comparison to those in SoB. Some of them already have me curious if testimonies will remain consistent.

Howdy, Yes, he is conflating Jeff Perren's two handwritten pages or four pages front and back. Rob Kuntz gives a much better recollection of those pages in a segment that follows on Ward's. There are a lot of these sorts of recollection, calibration errors when interviewing. But it is followed up with quotes which are closer to the mark or as accurate as can be.
