I saw on RPGnet's front page a review of Tékumel. It's by Endzeitgeist, who is a rather prolific reviewer in his own right.

I'll admit that I've been aware of this setting for quite some time, although this piqued my interest and put it on the laundry list of products to read in the near future.

Pretty balanced review. I am mainly in the same camp. I do like the system a LOT, though, which departs from EZG.
