Nice find! But those half-spiral stairs in the back doesn't make any sense betwen the 2nd and 3rd floor.

There's a few points of convergence with the castle map in the FFC, but overall it is very different. It makes me think the FFC castle interior map may have sprung from the mind of Bledsaw.

Nice find! But those half-spiral stairs in the back doesn't make any sense betwen the 2nd and 3rd floor. It's taken me a while of looking at it, but I think those stairs might be incompletely labelled. the stair well always spirals anticlockwise, but only goes one level at a time. So, taking the stairwell to the 2nd level empties you out in the left hallway by the guard room; you then have to cross the balcony into the right wing, and enter the next spiral stairwell in the south wall (since I guess we're looking from the north, so north = down). That brings you up to the left wing of the 3rd level, by the counting room. Another trip across the balcony takes you to the right wing, where you can either take the stairs up to the library (which is a dead end), or once again go through the south door to climb another stairwell to the 4th level left wing.

Nice find! But those half-spiral stairs in the back doesn't make any sense betwen the 2nd and 3rd floor. I don't know if this quote helps or not: "One thing to remember about the castle is that the two square buildings are on different levels; the half-spirals connect the level, while the other stairways as internal to their particular building."

That solves the mystery, thanks!
