OK, here's where we beg you generous artists for illustrations.
I know we need some 'troglodyte cavern' themed stuff. Tattooed troglodyte monks with flaming fungus and some 'o Sham's "Troglo-Knights" would be useful, as a starter. Also a friendly, diminutive mole-creature peeking out from behind a cavern wall. A blind troll sitting by a treasure pile? Hordes of troglodytes overwhelming an adventuring party from all sides? Pretty much free rein for imagination here, maybe some more specific requests as I actually get the darn thing written.

We need some hell-themed art, Dante's fifth circle would be a good source of starting inspirations, more soon.
Also, there's a series of tables that could use some art for decoration but don't demand any particular theme, so that's a good chance for artists just to submit their own creative work to show it off.
More soon!

Calithena, what's the deadline for art submissions? I'd like to have a go at one of those trog ones.

Art deadlines are variable, but the trog stuff probably will be OK through mid-late September at a minimum. Anything you can do would be grand!

The first thing we'll really need will be the free-form pics - the issue starts off with a "Ready Ref Sheets" section - so artists, if you have cool stuff you'd like to get out there and keeprights to, send that along right away!

Also, there's a series of tables that could use some art for decoration but don't demand any particular theme ...although a weird fantasyish illustration or two would be pretty cool for them.

What Melan said.
Also, we need a picture of a Lord of Eyes - somewhat similar to what the D&D folks call a Beholder. If you wanted to make this a tableau, you could put some gargoyles in with the big guy.

Also gnolls. More details soon.
This is going to be a fantastic issue and we're going to need some help from our fantastic artists. I'll put up a new thread or post to this one soon letting people know what we're looking for!

We are good to go on the Haghill picks once the trolls come in, thanks to carjack and Patrick Farley. Wonderful!
We could use some crab-men. More on that soon. Also, gnolls with a witch, more on that soon also (but start on either of these if you have an inspiration!).

Thanks carjack! Got the illo, your stuff is really helping make this issue great.
Here are some more things we could use, for Wilderlands Map 19: The Wild North.
- an Ice Worm - ogres going eel-hunting - vikings battling elk-hunting nomads - a Russian-styled noble court - a vast plain full of aimlessly wandering zombie-women - a giant mechanical device stuck in a bog, possibly surrounded by wights - a pair of weeping hill giants - gnomish eagle-riders - two hunters desperately trying to fend off a gang of several (five?) bears/werebears; several hunters are already slain - any pictures that might fit into a 'fantastic old Russia' type setting - shaggy dwarves battling goblins - a ruined castle on an island, with a single great iron statue looking over it
So, if any of that floats any of your artistic boats, please draw it and send it along. Thank you!

Calithena, were you still looking for troglodyte-related art? Unfortunately I haven't had any time for drawing over the last month due to work and family but I may have some capacity over the next few weeks.

Crab-men and trogs, yeah. Also a freaky witch with some gnoll henchmen. If something like that grabs your fancy, email me or ig for more details, or just draw it - the point is to have fun! Thanks!
