Calithena’s Campaign Compendium (contents)


BEING a selection from the notes of a manic Dungeon Master of long experience,

consisting principally of his reflections on the cosmology, inhabitants, and customs of a wide variety of fantasy worlds,

but also containing several alternative spell lists,

character background generation systems,

reflections on running a fantasy campaign, the scale of character actions within such a campaign, and ‘destiny’ rules that allow agreeable players and gamemasters to allow characters to angle towards victory,

and a short self-contained adventure in a mysterious locale.

These offerings are presented mostly as food for thought for fellow fantasists, game masters, and fantasy role playing enthusiasts. They are not systematic and not in all cases coherent, but might be of some use to kindred spirits.


My take; if you like reading about an interesting campaign, insight, and support, it's worth the purchase.
