I’m slowly purchasing print copies of the entire run, I got 4 left to go. Any rough ideas when 15 will be in my grubby hands?

“Story tellers are always careful to point out that the reputed dungeons lie in close proximity to the foundations of an older, pre-human city, to the graveyard, and to the sea.” – Dr. J. Eric Holmes

calithena hasn't been around in over a year. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some knowledge about what's going on.

I could have sworn that he somewhat recently stated that he was getting the wheels in motion to release issue 15 at long last.

It seems like there was something more recent than that, unless he deleted it or something. I wish he’d put out one final issue or have the reigns over to someone else who’s committed to this project, it’s a shave to just let it die at the end. So many people supported Fight On! and still do to this day.

I mean that with total respect by the way,i in my opinion Fight On! Is one of the top 5 or 10 things to come out of the osr ever, and is easily the best zine and it’s not even close.

psycheotica (a made up Greek word): that part of the soul, which aches for the closure of the Darkness Beneath dungeon series.

Any advice about the prep required to run Darkness Beneath complete using Dungeon Crawl Classics ruleset?

So I'm working on porting Darkness Beneath to Dungeon Crawl Classics. Changing the monster stat blocks and what not. Anyway, as I go through the Fighton! issues to do this work, I am struck by just how cool the magazine really is. Kudos I say to everyone who contributed (I have a pair of NPCs in #9, for example), especially the editor.
Next Sunday (3/7), at 7pm e.t., my group is playing waysoftheearth's Secrets of the Old City. There are passages off the sewer, which lead to Darkness Beneath. There is also a sewer inspector, who the adventurers will likely encounter. He will turn out to be the alpha villain, though I haven't yet schemed out his mind set.
Fight on!
Update: adventuring party has entered the Upper Caves. We play again tomorrow. Looking forward to having a blast!

Anyone know how much damage the large pincer of a crab man does? Or, is there a monster guide for Darkness Beneath?

Maybe it's time we made our own OD&D zine, with blackjack and hookers. Who's with me?

I think you mean "harlots." Roll to determine if Harlot, Trollop, Strumpet or Lady of the Evening. 1d4

Played first session of Darkness Beneath using Dungeon Crawl Classics rules. Thoroughly enjoyable. Factions galore. The dungeon lives up to billing. Oh yeah!

Kudos to Darkness Beneath again. This time for the thoughtful size of the typical description block. It's just not overwhelming but rather a delight to play.

My group is currently in the Warrens of the Troglodytes. I nearly had them for a TPK in the chamber of the floating gas spores and the one with the yellow brown mold. Looking forward to our next game session on Sunday.

I've had a few issues, but recently got the compilations which go up to issue 11. I got 12,13, & 14 on pdf. I have to say, the compilations are fantastic and well laid out. A little reminiscent of the old Palladium splat books. Just chock full of great material. The website says "Coming Soon from Fight On!: The Big Book of Fantasy Gaming Tables", does anyone know if this ever came out? I can't seem to find it.
