This board hasn't been very active lately, and the Carcosa blogs I've visited haven't been updated in a while. So I wonder if anyone is currently in a Carcosa campaign.
I haven't been active in Carcosa lately. The last session I ran was a couple of years ago; it ended in a TPK. I may run another game soon, but it depends whether my friends are up for a D&D game.

I was about to until my roommates decided to hit me with moving out news, which threw a wrench into those plans...LOL. I still write up new Carcosa themed Rituals and Spells as well as other related things when time permits.

Maybe we can start another Carcosa campaign here, although the ones here usually end prematurely.

I will be bringing Carcosa into my new Holmes edition campaign as a green moon in the void above the planet. I'll post some notes once they get there

We could end up with a Carcosan campaign pretty shortly. In our Arduin campaign, the party is thinking of going to the Plateau of Forever during the Red Solstice, at which time Arduin's nexus gates to the multiverse are blown wide open...Carcosa is one of the possible destinations should the party chance through the right portal.
I want to go there, but it would be ruinous to so many things!

Carcosa often gets a bad rep among oldschool circles, but both the LotFP Carcosa book, as well as "Isles of the Unknown" are among the pieces I go back to for inspiration whenever I do anything related to fantasy gaming. Can't precisely say why, but it's a mainstay in my bookshelf since I bought it, back in... 2011?

It is the first OSR piece that I picked up that inculcated in me an interest in hex-crawling.

I had some games here and there, but its hard to find players in my are who wants to play classic D&D. Everyone wants to play Pathfinder, WoD or Palladium -- AKA, systems I do not care about. The only D&D games anyone want to play is bland vanilla-fantasy. Convincing anyone to play anything new comes off as arm-twisting to them. Plus, no one here likes pulp/weird/Lovecraftian fantasy. They think "Sword & Sorcery" is "sexist thoughguy power fantasy" and "Dark Fantasy" is just "Grimdark D&D". Presenting a game like Carcosa in my area is like trying to rope some uptight prudish twit into some freaky, obscure sexual fetish. I need more freaks in my life. I would play online games, but dyslexia and a lack of a Skype setup makes that hard.

I feel your pain, Malcadon. Most of my players only seem to be interested in vanilla fantasy. I've been running games with d6 Fantasy and Stormbringer to familiarize them with other systems (one of the players is familiar with other systems such as MERP). I used Carcosa elements sparingly in order to ease the group into the system, but perhaps I should throw in more elements such as sorcery rituals with all they entail.

I'm currently running a Carcosa game at my University that has been quite well received, particularly with regards to the horrific and surreal elements of the setting. All of my players have not played OD&D before, which has also been interesting. When I announced what I was running, the first question I got was "You mean AD&D, right?"
I've been having a great time, and it occurs to me that there won't always be opportunities like this either. Gotta make every session count.
Doing some After-Action Reports, I could be up for that. We'll see.

I need to start a new Carcosa game. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I haven't thought about Carcosa in a long time. I've mostly focused on Middle-earth via MERP, LOTRO, and YouTube videos. Maybe a change of pace is in order.
