Long list, and I may not remember everything... Journal articles and things not included.
Fan MaterialsCrypt of the Magician (2001): dungeon based on free maps from the WotC site. No longer available, and probably for the best.
The Temple of Pazuzu (2002): wilderness and dungeon adventure on a jungle island. In English and Hungarian. No longer available, but I plan to do an updated version once I have the time. The Hungarian one is written, but will only be published some time in the autumn along with my RPG (see below).
The Tomb of the Barbarian King (ca. 2003): small dungeon; probably still available at
The Mausoleum of Frost. I planned an expanded version (which was used as an additional level for The Tomb of Abysthor), and still have the key, but have no idea where the map went.
The Garden of al-Astorion (2003 HUN, 2005 ENG): wilderness adventure with small lair type dungeons; originally written the night before a game convention and published as a very small-press item (70 copies). Found at
www.judgesguild.comBelow the City (2003 HUN, 2005 ENG): a Tomb of Horrors homage that was in fact inspired indirectly: the straight source is a Thief fan mission named Calendra's Legacy. Deadly, although a lot more forgiving than ToH.
Attack of the Plant Monsters (2004): very small wilderness lair, focused on killing nasty squishy things. JG.COM
The City State of Zothay (2005): a big one; writeups, rumors and mini-adventures for a sword&sorcery city state. A planned expansion for the nearby wastelands area was planned, some parts drafted, but ultimately never completed, and unlikely to. The Tower of Birds the only available segment as of now. JG.COM
The House of Rogat Demazien (2005): really more of an adventure location than an actual module, this is a nice modular houses + dungeon segment for city adventuring. Originally set on Zothay, I also used it for other places. I have a ton of these lying around in folders and places. JG.COM
The Isle of the Water Sprites (2005): a linear but badass and gonzo hack and slash adventure that never quite got the attention I wanted for it, nor seen play yet. May revise and expand later, I am currently steering my players towards it. Includes some really WTF encounters. JG.COM
Strabonus (2006): a tomb type dungeon with an interesting if confusing layout, lots of combat encounters, puzzles and dungeony bits, plus an awesome cover illustration.
www.cncplayer.netSystema Tartarobasis (2007): this is, put simply, the best game material I have ever written; coincidentally, it is also the purest from an OD&D standpoint.
www.cncplayer.netThe Tomb-Complex of Ymmu M'Kursa (2008): dungeon sublevel from the Khosura Undercity, you are familiar with this one. Fight On #1.
The Tower of Birds (2008): small low level lair type dungeon set in an arid wasteland. Originally ran this in a Wilderlands campaign, and reran for Fomalhaut; enjoyable both times. Fight On #2 (coincidentally, you can preview it in its entirety from the Lulu page!).
Officially publishedWilderlands of High Fantasy (2005): I was a design team member for this monster from about 2003, and contributed villages, castles, lairs, ruin revisions and geographic descriptions for lotsa regions (Elphand Lands, Valon, Barbarian Altanis, Ghinor, Ghinor Highlands, The Southern Reaches, a bit of Ament Tundra and maybe others). I also wrote the #1 encounter with the giant frogs in Barbarian Altanis, which is pure unadulterated creepitude; the one where Hennet gets his just desserts, and many others. Published by Necromancer Games.
Tegel Manor (2006): Revision for the Judges Guild classic, and the project that got most of my gaming-related toil, ideas and passion in 2006. Turned out nice if I say so myself, and ended up not published by Necromancer Games. A bitter disappointent, but I have basically given up on it ever seeing the light, and moved on, lessons learned about placing hopes in the gaming industry.
Written and upcoming at a future dateFomalhaut: for Fight On #3, a short writeup of my current weird fantasy/sword&sorcery campaign world.
Kard és Mágia [Sword and Magic]: a free old-school roleplaying game for the Hungarian Audience; three booklets (rules, monster&treasures, Ref's guidelines) for a total of ca. 180 pages. Somewhat of a d20 light meets C&C meets sword&sorcery kind of deal, with a decent Ref's guide. I plan to make it available very soon, having worked on and off on it for years and years. No English version planned, there are already too many new old school games around.
Black Blood: adventure module; so far only in Hungarian (in fact, finished yesterday night!). Inspired by C. L. Moore. Creepy as hell.
Wandering the Wilderlands: three mini-modules that were written ages and ages ago (one submitted to Pegasus way back in 2003 or so when Greg Geilman was trying to revive it, another a fan submission I never ended up sending in...), but never released. Maybe I should remove the WL refs and let people have them. Not bad, but I have done better.
Huh, I think that is it. There may be more, and I also have a mound of handwritten notes that I want or at one time wanted to finish up and publish, but never did. If it were in English, and I were some old coot from Wisconsin, I suppose they would be pretty valuable on eBay, but so it goes...
