I didn't get a chance to post here earlier in the week, but I had to cancel my trip & games at Gary Con because my father-in-law passed away last weekend. I hope to run the "Return to the Tower of Zenopus" next year instead. Z I'm sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace and rise in Glory. Thank you, I appreciate that. And he would too, he and his wife went to church every Sunday for the 60+ years of their marriage.

Awesome recaps scottenkainen, I saw you there but I was in a game so I couldn't say hi. Also I had a great talk with Michael and stayed up way past my bedtime! Looking forward to the next one!

Seriously though, anyone know what system was being used? ...Um yes, this was using the Bolt Action WWII Rules from Warlord Games, available here; us-store.warlordgames.com/collections/bolt-actionEvent #1339 Planet of the Apes 50th Anniversary GameSaturday 6-10 PM This miniatures event recounts the actions of the origional Planet of the Apes series, pitting Ape and Human characters from the films against one another. Players will attempt to complete goals over four miniatures scenarios to determine who the dominant species will be! Come celebrate 50 years of a classic! No Experience Necessary. GM Jason M Cook I just spotted this other game in the event guide, if I had known it was running, I would have tried to sit in and observe or play in this as well: Event #424 Kolchak: The Night Stalker in the Big EasySaturday 8 PM - Midnight Using the Amazing Adventures (Castles & Crusades Siege Engine) Rules Kolchak fought Supernatural evil and undead in the 70's and now his family continues his work in New Orleans. Join the Kolchak Agency to find what is behind a string of murders that is making the Big Easy, ...um, very uneasy! We'll use the Siege Engine rules to bring the spirit of the 70's TV show that inspired X-Files to life once more, so you can join, GM Allen White.

My friend Will played in that and highly recommends it!
