Over in this thread I talked about the gaming-related indie film I was involved in. I was unable to attend the premiere, but I finally got to see it last week. I had forgotten that, on the day we filmed the last scene, I had just finished reading my copy of "Fight On! #1", and had brought it along to show off. I ended up leaving it with my friend Jon so he could read it. Lo and behold, after I had shot my part and left, he continued to read it in the scene, and there it was, big as life, on the screen, being casually flipped through as if it were an accessory any intelligent gamer would have laying around! Which of course it is. Too cool! Aaron

Youtube of this clip is needed. Any possibility of that?
Take an exalt either way...

I will get to work on said clip!
We're going to start recording the commentary tracks soon (which will include a "Wives and Girlfriends" commentary...), so I'll be in a position to badger those with the masters.

Another vote for that clip!
When the commentary track is done, can we expect a DVD release?
I enjoyed Gamerz (a Scots production) more than, e.g., straight to video sequels to Starship Troopers.
I don't know much about the business aspect, but I know I'll have a better chance of catching this on disc than waiting for a local big screen or repertory playhouse to present it.

Without further ado, Fight On!'s film debut: This is the very first part of a larger scene near the end of the film where Jon, the fellow reading our hallowed zine, explains a dream he had that compelled him to sell his entire geek collection. Turns out he maybe just watched Labyrinth one too many times... We're still working on a "Director's Cut" that will have commentary tracks, deleted scenes, etc. Oh, and in case anyone wonders, I'm none of the people in the scene...

Wow, that's really wonderful. We should hook to that on the website. Contacting Rainsford...
