Metamorphosis Alpha with the Siege Engine

So the folks at Troll Lord games just announced that they would be producing a version of Metamorphosis Alpha using their Siege Engine mechanic. I'm not sure whether or not this will be more like C&C (or Victorious or Amazing Adventures) or if it will be more like their Star Siege rules, but apparently Jim Ward is on board with this project and they say that it is supposed to be a lot like his original vision for the game. Also, perhaps it will wipe clear bad memories of the recent MA 5E fiasco?

Anyway, I'm excited about this project and hope they work quickly.

I bought a reprint of the original MA a few years ago from Mr. Ward. Are they no longer available?

I'm not sure, actually. I could e-mail him and check.

Well, I still have mine. It just seemed odd to me that they're rebooting/reinterpreting it, unless of course, the original is no longer available.
