Love this show. I had thought it was the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia but my son loves it too. And watching it again with him I see how really "D&Dish" it is.

I think you can find some of the episodes on YouTube. I recently started re-watching this series. All 27 episodes are on YouTube. There's also an online encyclopedia of the show. Additionally, there's a script for an unproduced finale called Requiem (PDF) which I enjoyed reading.

Yesterday, CBR reported that the Dungeons & Dragons' Classic Cartoon Returns With a New Miniseries. To be clear, this is a comic book series, not a TV show: The tentative release date is March 2023. The CBR article provides all the details on the plot, artists, background, etc.
BTW, on YouTube, I found several fan-made versions of the unproduced/unaired finale to the Saturday morning D&D TV show, entitled Requiem, - The first edits together the original Requiem script (1985), a DVD radio show (2006), and fan-made Portuguese comic (2010).
- The second uses the 2006 radio show plus original footage from the series.
- The third combines the radio show and the script.

This cartoon holds up. I would like to see a new animated continuation of it, but then I don't trust anyone to get it right and they would do the ominous "updated for modern audiences".

Love this thread resurrection! That car commercial was a pretty good live action version - really enjoyed it. I’ll try to link the video here when I’m on a computer. If someone doesn’t beat me to it. Great thread krusader74 !

Some of the characters now have their own miniatures in the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle line. You can also use this Deep Cuts miniature (the hooded one) for Sheila. I'm still searching for a good representation of Bobby.
