Which of these magazines have you ever subscribed to (to receive in the post/mail)? Let's have a poll

Only Dragon for me. I subscribed for two years, giving me issues #62 through #85.

Only Dragon, because I couldn't get it reliably every month. I bought every issue of White Dwarf from the 30s through the early 100s, until it became a Games Workshop catalogue.

I received Dragon and White Dwarf though the mail for at least a little while, although I’m not sure I received them directly from the publisher—I might have added them to my Mile High account back when Mile High did automatic weekly shipments. I had gone from a college town with a great gaming store and comic book store, back to the small town I grew up in, which had neither, and to top it all off I was injured badly enough I couldn’t drive for quite a while.
But that was a long time ago, and besides, the magazine is dead.

I'm really surprised Dungeon magazine is doing so poorly here; that magazine was an amazing value for all the material you got.

Only Dragon during the 2nd Edition era, although I bought Dungeon from my FLGS occasionally.

I never subscribed to White Dwarf, but bought a few issues at a store back in the day.
Was White Dwarf a U.K. printed publication where it may have been expensive to subscribe to in the USA?
Just curious thanks

White Dwarf and Heavy Metal. Plus Epic Illustrated and the Savage Sword of Conan.

I'm really surprised Dungeon magazine is doing so poorly here; that magazine was an amazing value for all the material you got. I always treated Dungeon issues the same as modules—if I wanted an adventure in it, I bought it, but I needed to at least see the titles and descriptions first. (Fortunately, since Dungeon didn’t put descriptions on the cover like modules did, Dungeon wasn’t shrink-wrapped.)

Was White Dwarf a U.K. printed publication where it may have been expensive to subscribe to in the USA? Well, it was a UK magazine, and although I'm not certain that it was only printed in the UK I would guess it unlikely that there was a US version.

It used to be hard to find White Dwarf in my FLGS, although I bought a few issues. I stopped looking at it when they stopped producing AD&D stuff and focused solely on GW stuff.
Other magazines I used to buy regularly were Shadis, d8, and Inphobia. The last one was produced by White Wolf and focused on the World of Darkness setting, while the others were independent game magazines. AEG produced Shadis; I don't remember who produced d8.

I don't think I ever subscribed to Dragon, though I was picking it up regularly for a while. I don't think I subscribed to White Dwarf either, but I do have a nearly complete run up to the 60s or something like that (and at least one of the missing issues went missing in college).
Dungeon on the other hand, I subscribed to when it was first announced and maintained my subscription until the very end of it's print run.

If I had this poll to do over again I would have included F&SF Magazine as an option. Used to really enjoy getting that in the mail and it is still going. Picked up one recently for the Matthew Hughes story
