I just finished watching the first season of this excellent show.
Does anybody else see this show as a source of inspiration for their Carcosa campaigns?
With his book and his synesthesia I can't help but see Rust as a lawfully aligned Sorcerer with no rituals and very low charisma.

See, to me, Rust is a Lawful fighting man who, so to the after-affects of his mother ingesting blue lotus petals while giving birth, has given him unique insight into the Great Old Ones, Hastur in particular. He now has dedicated his life and perilous sanity to hunting down Chaotic sorcerers...  |

I want to work the 'Iron Crusaders' into my campaign somehow. Or maybe use them as inspiration for the various roving bandits one may encounter.

I mentioned the book "A Season in Carcosa" in other threads. It sounds like the stories would fit right in the world of True Detective.
