Where did the Docrae enter the world of Blackmoor? Well, I suppose they did with 3E since they are basically the 3E Halflings, while the term Halfling in Blackmoor is still reserved for the more Tolkienesque variant.
However: Is there anything in older material suggesting various subraces of Halflings? Or especially tough Halflings? Mello doesn't count since he is still a Halfling. Is Swale Highfellow a d20 era NPC or did he exist previously in Dave's campaign?
