Cool thing about the generated maps: If you go into Photoshop (and I assume this would be similar in GIMP), you can adjust the threshold levels to get this: imgur.com/dPCVio6

That site is exactly what I used to create the map of my campaign world "Caldera" back in 2012. I generated a who bunch of maps, then cut, pasted, re-sized and combined to get the final product. You can see it >here<

I like these! See I am way behind again...Koren I don't know how I missed your blog, that's great! I'll have to read up in there! Looks like an interesting campaign. I do weird things to get maps sometimes. I am OCD when it comes to map making and I'm never happy with what I draw so I will grab texture rubbings off of worn concrete, drywall texture (the larger splash patterns), burned edges of paper, dead leaves I pick up on the ground. I have even splattered daubs of paint on porous paper, let them bleed together and then based my map on the resultant patterns. I am aware that this is nutso. However, it's also fun! It seems more fun to arrange the geography of a fantasy map when you have a completely random or nearly random design.

I am aware that this is nutso. You say that like it's a bad thing. Sometimes nutso is the best way to go!

Koren I don't know how I missed your blog, that's great! I'll have to read up in there! Looks like an interesting campaign. Thanks for the compliment, Xerxex. You'll quickly see I almost never post, but I appreciate it nonetheless!
