It just occurred to me that maybe I should pimp this over here ... I've been posting for a while now my progress in "Digitizing Tekumel". Basically what I've done is import the Swords and Glory map (as a scanned jpeg) into CAD and am tracing and re-drawing it. I've scaled it to metric and am technically drawing in meters but I am not doing any detailed stuff at the moment. I've imported some of the city drawings that are floating around and scaled them. I started with Jakalla and was actually planning on doing the city first but there were too many things to work out (like thickness of the city wall). Besides, I've become more interested in doing the geography in greater detail. I'm up to part 10 which I posted earlier this evening. I'm working my way up and down the Mssuma river. Right now I'm looking at the floodplain. I've been looking at RW examples - the Ganges river and the Indus, for example. Anyway, you can find it over at my "Heroes of the Age" blog: heroesoftheage.blogspot.ca/Howard
