I hated the comics in the early Dragon, and always skipped past them. I was a prig.
Great idea for a show!

The comics in the early Dragon were pants, but the ones in White Dwarf were superb. I always remember I started reading it from issue #45 because that was also the first appearance of the Travellers and Thrud the Barbarian - IIRC Gobbledigook started an issue or two before (#42?). www.2000ad.org/markus/travellers/

Thanks for the kind words...Though I must differ with you Vile; though we should've mentioned WD. I found Thrud hit or miss (though I loved the Kipling joke), and while Trav was pretty good Gob just left me cold. Maybe it was because the humor was too British and so hard for a Yank to get?

Must be - Gobbledigook had my group in stitches every month! But I'll give you that point on Thrud, he wasn't consistently funny even though he was consistently player character-like.
